Rewards for Vulcanus seem bizarre, unless I'm missing something.

    Plat 1 league 1 = 550 pets + 580 energy
    Chall 1 league 2 = 700 pets + 1100 energy
    Chall 10 league 2 = 570 pets + 540 energy
    Chall 1 league 3 = 600 pets + 1000 energy

So being #1-10 in the 25%-50% league gives better rewards than being in plat 1 (or worse) in the top 25% league.

You can say that the game wants to have competitive content for players who aren't the absolute strongest in the game, but seeing as it doesn't seem like there's any rewards for the placement exam (none listed in this notice) wouldn't stronger players deliberately flunk the placement exam so they get into a lower league and do better there? Going from a plat aiming for a challenger rank in the rank below seems risky sure since it immediately starts failing if a lot of players try the same strategy, but if you'd place poorly (i.e. bronze) within a league then deliberately ranking down is way safer and gives better rewards. Which completely undermines the idea of having different leagues.

    Bronze 3 league 1 = 230 pets + 415 energy
    Plat 1 league 2 = 450 pets + 480 energy
    Plat 1 league 3 = 350 pets + 380 energy

And league 2/3 players can do this too. Going from silver/bronze in league 2/3 to plat in league 3/4 is an upgrade. At least in terms of pets, which IMO are vastly more important than the energy.

I have no idea how anybody can think that kind of rewards structure makes sense when scanning it for literally a couple of seconds flags up those issues and perverse incentives.

A lot of the other stuff is nice and welcome. PvP is INSANELY bad right now so cutting down the number of weekly participations needed for the reward is nice I suppose, but it seems strange to do without changing the daily rewards (which already required far more participations anyway).
