Emulator or phone

I tried bluestack before, but it stuttered way too much. I heard that LDplayer was the way to go. A while back, i also saw a post that said LDplayer perform worse than a cellphone. Question for those who use emulator, which one perform better? Note Looking for a general observation, diseegarding types of phone and graphic cards.

I just got back to try the game and tried out blue stacks. Crashed once now, but works pretty well other than that.
Recorded a raid session, full auto, x3 speed. While one video cannot tell you consistency, thus far this has been my experience (outside of that one crash), so atm, I don't have any problems with bluestack.
Task manager shows it's using under 500MB of memory, so if RAM could be an issue, maybe things like closing some browser tabs might help.

The phone (s9+) version doesn't appear to offer any improved experience vs the emulation for me (as a matter of fact I tried the emulation because the phone version crashed twice on me - I'm assuming due to heating).

I try use LD player, but it freeze while set multiple runs for narrative dangeon, and for wb it lose some damage compared to my iOS phone.. but maybe is because my laptop is not good (have only 6GB of ram)

Maybe from google store you can see if there is a version for pc... but I don’t have my pc here with me to check it. :)

The desktop Japanese version is on the DMM store.

And to run LDPlayer without technical issues you need to have modern gaming PC specs. Destiny Child may not look like much but it can actually be performance hungry and LDPlayer is an *emulator* which requires a bit more oomf than the mobile systems it's emulating to run optimally.

the meat of the question is, will it perform better with a gaming computer?

  • Ravenous LV.23 Titan Oct 4, 2020, 11:52 PM

    Better compared to what?

phone. ex: iphone x, 10, android s8, s9, pixel. conceptual answer, not a concrete one. relitively speaking.

Darksicus  There are mobile devices that can run DC at peak performance at all times without compatibility issues. If you have one such device you won't gain more with emulation. But if you can emulate it on a capable computer you can customize your experience. For example with LDPlayer you can force landscape view.

Ravenous  yea, considering many factor, an emulator is the way to go for me. background 'processing', landscape, higher fidelity, hopefully better performance that could lead to higher score. personally im planning to switch over, just need a good emulator. thanks for sharing ur opinion bro, appreciate the insight

I've observed LD Player crashing the app more often than MuMu, both had weird overfiltered look. I was probably doing something wrong.

I got sick of LDPlayer constantly crashing and stalling progress, so I switched to BlueStacks. Wish I'd known it earlier tbh. Works flawlessly.
