Need help solving Power Levels?
TIPSA friend by the name of Gatsu86 and I had made a step by step equation to solve such a enigma of a stat. We only did this with only one Child. So please, feel free to correct us. 1st Equation: Step 1: HP+ATK+DEF+AGI+CRT = Total Step 2: Total+Mean(The amount of numbers) = Avg. Step 3: Avg. × # of stars = PL1(Power Level 1) 2nd Equation: Step 4: Repeat Step 1 but add only the denominator to the total. Step 5: Repeat Step 2 Step 6: Repeat Step 3 to get PL2 Final Equation: Step 7: PL1+PL2+APL (Actual PL)= Total Step 8: Total÷Mean= Final Power Level Step 9: Round the decimal by the tenth All done! Let me know if you guys need for me to give an example. I got a photo of it. And when replying, no toxicity, only big brain answers. ... God this took about 2 hours to do.
Seems interesting. I have seen your post on Bugs & Report, maybe you should bring the Example from that post.
Here is their Example : https://moot.us/lounges/73/boards/1249/posts/3221874/power-levels-are-bsThis is not a self-consistent field approach. How are you using the number, which you want to calculate, in your calculation of said number?
Oh you mean the Power Level.
Yah, I said I did this one Child. Would you like to explain as to why it's "not a self-consistent field approach,"?Cause I got my notes right here, IF you want to see it.
Alright, remembering the steps up there^
My version:
1. 911+383+288+265+314 = 2,161
2. 2,161÷5 = 432.2
3. 432.2×2 = 864.4 = PL1
Gatsu86's version:
4. 2,161+46 (Exp Denom.) = 2,207
5. 2,207÷5 = 441.4
6. 441.4×2 = 882.8 = PL2
Finally:
7. 864.4(PL1)+882.8(PL2)+873(APL) = 2620.2
8. 2620.2÷3 = 873.4
9. 873.4 => 873Step 7 you're adding APL. Step 9 you've calculated the APL.
... Have you taken Algebra or any Science class? My teachers would always do this in a problem to make sure the answer to said problem was correct.
Tell me what to do better dangit! Here's an optimised version of your calculations:
Step 1: PL = APL.I'm pretty sure can use this info for PvP I guess....
Still not sure its perfect buuuuuuut hey
It is what it is.Really wish made much simpler to do. If I could add them up to get the PL then that would have been a lot better than to pull out freaking notebook paper to do Algebra.
