I’d rather look at the bright side of the situation, I’ve also haven’t received that much 5 stars, we all have let’s be honest, but I did get Splash Billy’s costume and spa skin both of which are rarer that the 5 star childs so that means the RNG is not rigged by any means...
I’ve been a F2P player ever since I’ve picked this game up so I know I’m not gonna get rank 1 in anything, that’s just the Gacha nature and I think you’ve just gotta accept that man.
Focus and love the childs that the game has given you, and not get mad at the childs that you want.
If you wanna spend $250 on lucky boxes, packages and fortune chips that’s your choice man, but don’t throw a tantrum when you don’t get what you want just cause your luck isn’t that great today.

For my 2 cents, I don’t think this new direction will deter me in my enjoyment in this game. I can still save up gems from dailies and I’m not that interested in PvP as I was before.
