That icon is for "Starter Pack" kind of purchases. On new accounts, the three packages are becoming available on the first three days of playing, respectively.
I've tried playing the game from the start for a bit on an emulator, hoping to perhaps swindle the game into playing at higher than '1080 x ...' resolution (I keep thinking back to an old LG G5 with its 1440 pixels, and how I felt I had better aliasing situation on it). Seen it pop up and try to entice me. By the way, Annie banner didn't give me anything on that account either.

Anyway, in those packages, what I found funny, at least one of them grants the hard-working 5-star water debuffer Isolde, yet the banner there misspells her name.
On older accounts the icon appears intermittently, inconsequentially, for only a bunch of people, and the reason for that bug is not known.

I mean I infer that the poster, being on RYU1 account, has a RYU2 account watching the broadcast of 10x summoning. I have no proof but I'm quick to misanthropically assume the lack of imagination in poster and the close association of RYU1 and RYU2 (and perhaps more RYUs).
Not wanting to miss the chance of so-called Matching Bonuses on broadcasts (you just have to see it roll to 7,777 crystals once, to begin to strongly covet more), the poster likely watches own summoning via the alt account(s). And anyone can think through other event types, and what can an alt account be used in those for.
I know I'm not not doing the same for just laziness reasons, hence I experience certain emotions.

After some thinking, I took the risk, bought the 15 blood gems lucky box, the only one during this event, got a 5-star SC ticket (regular "Midnight Partner" inside) from it, and the final roll was 10 pearls, tipping over 200.
I could get my first Venus, Eochaid or Annie, or I could raise uncaps for something more interesting now (Pomona, either Bathory, Neptune, Tyrving, Bikini Lisa, Oracle Werewolf, the list goes on).

I'll second this, rather than double the screenshot. I'm at 163 pearls and 80 chips the day before last. Thus to get over 200 it takes double x30 in two (three if I bought at least one "Lucky Box" for blood gems) remaining rolls. Fat chance.

The part about platinum chests is not true for slayers. A Slayer would be chancing to get the plat chest, never the chest of another rarity, from a much greater range of levels. The only downside is lower payout of slayer points, which is sometimes inverted due to damage dealt. Like, slaying a lv 40 with 100k hp left nets you worse result than slaying a 1.4m hp lv 37.

Watch who gets targeted by your buffers and who gets to autotap during fever, unless you're into controlling stuff manually. Both can be suboptimal due to raw stats.

Her debuff is unique, debuff accuracy can only be increased by non-specific S-grade equipment options.
An enemy Athena and Pomona wouldn't discriminate what debuff to clear.
How well it lands - no idea.
She's water element, so Nicole, Newbie Mona and Lady Bathory would be at an advantage against her.
What to use her with to take advantage of bonus damage from allied water units? Switch Dana, Neptune to Eshu, Rusalka?
Needs testing, as always.

PvP likeability was in place way before the Spa system introduction, working to quantitatively measure the bond of friendship between the friend and the player.
At higher likeability, gift exchange between friends yields more points. With a bit of effort in testing, we could say how fast it improves, are likeability scores tracked separately between the mutual friends, or some other in-and-outs.

But the payoff from the system is too small to bother to investigate, too slow to rely on. It's there for occasional crucial assists in ReBirth Labyrinth, or grinding through dungeons with own lower level Childs.

Ask the moot support, rate it 1 star on google play. I have checked the dead-level active lounge about Overwatch once, now it's constantly in the list, I ignore it. You're almost trying to guilt trip someone into fixing your own mild inconvenience.

Zero equipment options? There are options adding to attack, and ignore defense.

I keep thinking back to equipment crafting system. How it was "explained" with tables of possible options of all grades and subgrades.
A few weeks in, I can't remember or easily access that list, thus can't decide what to blame for not getting any subjectively good options rolled on my accessories.
Now, the CM has deemed it worthy of step-by-step explanation with screenshots. The explanation wouldn't be seen by those who don't visit DC moot lounge. The explanation will soon get buried under newer posts.
If this explanation is needed to use the system, and if the system gives you an edge upon proper use, then it's textbook bad game design, more or less aggravated by how early into new player experience it comes into use.
